About the Instructor: Dan Georgescu, MBA, M.SC.

Dan is currently the Supplier Technical Assistance Resident in Global Purchasing for Ford Motor Company of Canada. He is in charge of supplier development for the over 600 suppliers of the Oakville Assembly Complex.

Dan teaches Supply Chain Management in the MBA program at the Schulich School of Business at York University and Operations Management, Procurement and Supply Strategy in the BBA / MBA programs at the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.

He is SCMA’s Principal Education Strategy consultant, the chair of the Academic Content Review round table, the Chair of PMAC’s Instructors Development Education Committee, a member of the Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering Program Advisory Committee at Sheridan College, and a member of the National Accreditation Review Panel of the Canadian Sector Council for Supply Chain (CSCSC).
