This workshop will discuss the objectives of business logistics management in planning, organizing and controlling the supply chain.  It will also explore key logistics decisions such as determining the number, location and size of warehouse facilities, selecting the most suitable transportation modes between suppliers, manufacturing and distribution facilities, identifying the appropriate storage and materials handling requirements and the link between logistics and customer service.

Brian is currently a member of the Trade Team for Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC). The overall scope of the position is to define the Edmonton Metro Region as a critical International Logistics Hub with the help of a community of Manufacturers, Processors and Logistics Service professionals that possess proven, unique and expanding skills.
Prior to joining Enterprise Edmonton, Brian spent over 30 years as a management consultant focused on supply chain and logistics management as well as helping businesses in a wide range of industries improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness. Over the past five years, Brian has instructed for the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA), Alberta Chapter.
